Maybe we could put Danny Glover on the same spaceship with Pat Robertson and send them to Mars. First Robertson says the Haitians brought the earthquake on themselves and now this:

Now some fresh pickings from the Political Grapevine:
Fault Line
Actor Danny Glover says the earthquake in Haiti is a result of global warming. Glover told GRITtv that it could have happened to any of the Caribbean island nations: "They are all in peril because of global warming."
Then, he lamented the failure of the climate summit in Copenhagen. As a result of that failure, he says, "this is what happened."
I know Glover is a wacko extreme lefty, but this is just crazy. Especially considering that it has been one of the coldest winters on record in the Caribbean region.

Without a doubt, nutcases come in all persuasions. I had heard that one before regarding a different earthquake and felt the same way you did-- like how would global climate change have any possible connection to earthquakes which have always been with us as has global climate change which may or may not be impacted by us. At any rate, it's too bad such people (from the left or right) get any publicity at all. It's not helping
